A hotel with tradition
in the heart of the spa-town of Prüm

 

The hotel is located on the main square of Prüm, with a fabulous view of the basilica and the old abbey. Although shopping is close by, it is a perfect place to relax. All around the town are deep coniferous forests with hiking paths.

Our hotel looks back on a long tradition. From the 11th century onwards, important figures of history from all over Europe came and stayed at the original guest house of Prüm’s Benedictine Abbey.

The present location has served as a Prüm’s main hotel since 1803. It was acquired by the Selbach family in 1907. In 2009 the hotel was sold to local businessman Detlef Gehrke and has been run since that time by Daniele Haas.

Our individually styled rooms are of high standard, yet offer visitors a homelike atmosphere. The well-being of our guests is of great importance to us. Wireless internet connection is available free of charge. - In addition to our standard rooms, we offer inexpensive rooms with basic facilities for hikers and pilgrims on the road to Santiago.

A full breakfast is available in our bright and friendly breakfast room. Other meals can be had in nearby restaurants. There are several to chose from.

Our hotel is perfectly suited for tourists, hikers and anyone interested in recreation. We also accommodated many business travellers, groups and simple overnight guests. Have a look at our apartment accommodation facilities, too.
